What a great night of racing at Scotia Speedworld. Everyone had a great time with some very competitive racing. QUALIFYING:
1 Snake
2 Gary Champagne
3 Edward Eastley
4 Callihan
5 procketus
6 danno3 Hate
7 RAD71
8 Ben Manning
With the command "Gentlemen (?) start your engines," given by one of the local lassies from the Hog's Breath Saloon. Eight street stock roared to life again that is subjective.
Snake qualified first and held the lead the entire lap. Snake was pushed hard by Procketus the entire race with some excellent racing but was never able to dilodge the reptile from first. While the racing in review would seem banal it is anything but. The positions from 3rd to 7th were hotly contested with positions swapping each lap. The final results were:
1 Snake 185
2 procketus
3 Edward Eastley
4 danno3
5 Gary Champagne
6 RAD71
7 Callihan
8 Ben Manning
The finish in tonights race sets the stage for the final race next week at TPSCC BLUE RIDGE when the Stage 3 champion will be crowned and the overall champion also. The standings including tonights race at Scotia Speeworld:
1 Callihan 2159
2 Rented Ride 2118
3 Snake 1942
4 danno3 1894
5 RAD71 1750

FRIDAY NIGHT STREET STOCKS--DODGE RACEWAY STADIUM Qualifying had 8 cars show: 1. Kevin 2. Snake 3. Ed Eastley 4. Rented Ride 5. Danno3 6. Rad71 7. Kris Johnson 8. Callihan 9. Michael Green.
What a great night for racing there was a general air of excitment. Well the first three laps went relatively uneventful with Kevin leading Snake, Ed following. The first yellow was brought out by K Johnson try to take the space that was occupied by Rad71 from then on confusion reigned. Danno3 moved into 4th setting the stage for some very interesting racing througout the night.
Rented Ride, the overall points leader, was pushing Danno3 hard for the next 10 laps. Snake takes the lead from Kevin and manages to hold it until he experiences video card problems and start warping fron back up and down. The only place he did not end up in was the mens room. Rented Ride manages to get by Danno3 with some nifty driving but in the back of the pack it is a bar room brawl with Callihan, K Johnson and Rad71 unloading haymakers on each other....of course the main participant is Callihan.
The next yellow is brought out when Rented Ride slides high out of control and he is collected by Ed and Danno3 who have been racing hard. They all bounce crazily down the track with Rented Ride getting much the worse of it. I think he had to start from the back at least three times tonight.
Callihan, Rad71 and Michael Green are fighting hard for their positions on every part of the track all of this builds up to the last few laps which were very interesting to say the least.
Keving is in first place Danno3 is in second, Ed is in third and Snake (remember the video problems) is in fourth...ok the stage is set. Ed goes to pass Danno3 on the inside loses control and weaves crazily down the track. All of this scrubs speed and it gives Snake the chance to pass between Ed and Danno3. Ed recovers and moves next to Danno3 as they go into turn 1 there is contact Danno3 moves high up the track and Ed takes the position as they leave turn three again there is contact between Danno3 and Ed who loses control and he is all over the track. Weaving his way down the track he clips Danno3 spinning him in front of Callihan who has been dueling with Michael Green and Rad71. Danno3 looked like a ping pong ball in a high wind eventually he fell from third to seventh in 1/4 of a lap. His finish was not indicative of the way he drove tonight. Ed Eastley in an interview with ESPN expressed his regrets for the incidents of the evening claiming that none of them were intentional Needles to say it was a very fun and exciting night of racing in the FRIDAY NIGHT STREET STOCKS. The results of the the race are: 1. Kevin 2. Snake 3. Ed 4. Rented Ride (where did he come from?) 5. Callihan 6. Michael Green 7. Danno3 8. Rad71 9. Kris Come and join us for a fun and exciting night of FRIDAY NIGHT STREET STOCK. Qualify-9:00 est Race-9:15 est.

Good day to everyone..I am sorry I was absent with my reporting for last week but real life gets in the way every now and then. Anyway your smiling reporter is back for another exciting evening of racing at the NAWSCAR Friday Night Street Stocks.
Rented Ride is offered belated congratulations for winning the 1st of three legs in the series. Gentlemen there are two more legs in the championship to go...GET AFTER HIM!!! Last Friday we were at Dodge Raceway Stadium a unique and fun track.
Rober Rund won the pole with a blazing 16.996 and managed to take that pole to the checkered for his first win of the season. If Robert continues to run with this intensity he will be a factor for the overall championship and of course the 2nd leg of the series.
ttruex has been absent for five or six races but he is back and really showing some speed he pushed Robert Rund the entire evening all he needed was a few more laps!!!
The finishing order of the night was as follows: 01 Robert Rund 02 ttruex_BWR 03 Edward Eastley 04 Rented Ride 05 RAD71 06 Snake 07 JR Sharp 08 danno3 09 procketus 10 Callihan 11 Jason Inch
There is such tremendous racing from the front to the back of the field that it is hard to do*****ent. You just have to be there to experience it. This is one of the truely good mods that is fun to drive. So come out on Friday night and give it a try. Information may be found in the NAWSCAR forum under Street Stocks of just drop me a line. Well it is Friday Night Street Stocks and we are at Nova Scotia's Speedworld. A great little track that has proved to be very competitive in the past. The qualifying order for the night was: 01 [ARL] kevin 02 Rented Ride 03 SuperSi44 04 procketus 05 Edward Eastley 06 danno3 07 Callihan 08 Gator At the start of the race Rented Ride gets a great start and leads Kevin into turn one. Kevin goes low and runs over the rumble strip that pushes his car high into Rented Ride. Kevin then spins into the center of the track. (It is well know about this track that if you spin out of the way inside of turn one and two the yellow flag will not fly) and the yellow flag did not fly effectively eliminating kevin from winning the race. We run for a couple of laps until Gator, again in turn two, spins Danno3 into the inside of the track. Danno3 traversed the entire track and managed to miss everyone. This time the yellow flew. (I guess the noise woke the flagman...LOL) Ed Eastley who had moved from fifth to fourth managed to get under Gator when he went hight into turn four. The next run was accentuated by a terrific battle for the fourth, fifth and sixth position by Callihan, Procketus and Gator. There was some very good clean racing with nobody giving an inch to the other. Kevin had a self spin after contact with the blue barrels...something you really don't want to do at this track. Those barrels must be filled with concrete because they just don't move when you hit them the only thing to give is your car. Gator and Procketus are fighting for position when Gator drifts hight setting up for turn three. Wrong....Procketus was there and Gator bounced into the infield bringing yet another yellow. Gee the boys are rambunctous tonight... on the retart Callihan dives low over the rumble strips in and effort to pass Ed Eastley for third and for the next two laps they fight for the position with Callihan on the inside. But old age and treachery wins out and Ed Eastley manages to hold onto the position and move on to challenge SuperSi for second. In fact Callihan ran into the rear of Ed Eastley and spun himself to the infield. Rented Ride who has led since the first lap had it pretty easy today as no one was able to mount a challenge. But the race for second place was a different story SuperSi and Ed Eastley threw everything they had at each other. SuperSi wiggled a little coming out of turn 4 and Ed Eastley was able to get inside and move into second. On the nest lap SuperSi put the chrome bumber into Ed moving him up the track just enough for him to pass. A lap later Ed returned the favor made the pass on SuperSi but overran turn one and lost the position again and this time for good. The final results were:
01 Rented Ride 02 SuperSi44 03 Edward Eastley 04 [ARL] kevin 05 procketus 06 danno3 07 Callihan 08 Gator
Next week we are at TPSCC TENNESSEE and we will crown a first session champion. The racing will still continue because in this new format we will have 3 session champs and and overall champ.
Come on out and race you are allways in contention and it is great fun. Mod and carset can be found in the NAWSCAR forum under "Scotia Speedworld Series" track and mod downloads

Good day ladies and gentlemen first off I would like everyone to have a safe and sane Memorial Day and to express my gratitude for those who have served and who are serving in the Armed Forces...THANK YOU.
We are at IRP:
Qualifications went off without a hitch the results were: 1. (ARL) kevin..a very fast competitor 2. Robert Rund..rapid and close on kevin's tail 3. Callihan..allways competitive and dangerous 4. Jason Inch..Boos is an old NAWSCAR racer getting his feet wet again 5. Procketus..can win any day in any mod 6. Sourgrapes..handles the car as well as his camera 7. Danno3..an up and coming Street Stock drive..faster and faster 8. Ed Eastley..struggling with IRP 9. Rented Ride..reigning SS champ still searching for the IRP line 10. RAD71..a late entry that is faster than the stats
The flagman at the start of the race was a little confused as to when the start was to take place but all was solved and the pack was away!! Kevin and Rund fought for the lead the entire race with kevin eventually winning the struggle. The real dogfight was for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th place. Callihan, Boos, Danno3 and Procketus fought tooth and and nail for the number three spot which was eventually captured by Callihan. Boos, Procketus and Danno3 for the next 20 laps went at it hot and heavy. First it was Danno3 then Boos and Procketus viaing for 4th 5th and 6th. It was really something to see such competitive driving with only 3 yellows for the evening and only one of them came from the middle pack where all the action was. Eventually Danno3 edged Boos and Procketus for 4th.
Meanwhile Ed Eastley, Rented Ride and Sourgrapes and RAD71 struggled all night. I don't know what it was but this group just could not get a handle on this track. These teams are usually very fast but not tonight! Each and everyone had their specific problems but they still had FUN!!! You have to remember that this is short track racing and things happen real fast on the track. No matter where you are there is always someone to trade paint with.
The final results where: 01 [ARL] kevin 02 Robert Rund 03 Callihan 04 danno3 05 Jason Inch 06 procketus 07 Edward Eastley 08 sourgrapes 09 Rented Ride 10 RAD71
Next week we are at Scotia Speedworld. qualify 9:00 race 9:15

Friday night the Street Stock Series was at Dodge Raceway Stadium. A unique track located entirely within a football stadium. Of course this is a fantasy track.
The combatants for tonight are:
SuperSi44--the name says it all Ed Eastley--ole easy Ed Robert Rund--rapid Robert sourgrapes--our elite cameraman RAD71--we now know why he is calle Rad!! Rented "what are Ed's points" Ride Callihan--where's the Snake THE SNAKE--just another reptile Gator--just a bigger reptile Antonio "torque" Torquemada
with a starting list like this you know its going to be FUN.
The race starts with Rund on the pole followed by Snake, SuperSi and the rest of this motley crew. Torque brought out the first caution of the night and the second when he lost control hit the outside wall spins to the bottom of the track where he bursts into flames. Luckily the safety crew as prompt and Torque is ok but his car was demolished and he is out for the night. During this yellow Rad goes completely rad and manages to pass two cars slow down and bump both of them. Rad says he was momentarily possesed buy aliens and denies remembering anything.
Snake is being pushed real hard by SuperSi at the front meanwhile in the pack Callihan suddenly goes into Lemming mode (suicide) and tries to take out the inner barrier for no apparent reason he then moves up into the path of the leader Snake (not a wise thing to do) and Snake give him a little love tap that sends him skittering accross the track.
On the restart SuperSi makes a questionable move to the inside of Snake hitting him in the rear quarter panel and sending the snake in a loop de loop down the back stretch, Robert Rund tries to avoid all of this and, of course, pick up a spot or two and manages to spin himself to the back of the pack.. Rented Ride is going high and manages to clip the outside wall and catapult himself into the pits...LOOK OUT!!!
After all of this settled down Grapes. Robert and Ed pushed SuperSi but couldn not do any good with SuperSi winning a fun and exciting race.
The next track is INDY RACEWAY PARK qual--9:00 pm est race--9:15 pm est
A video of the race can be seen in the NAWSCAR forum under Street Stocks. Thank you Grapes the vid is appreciated.
